Looking Ahead to 2026: FM, Property and Business Services
As we look ahead to 2026, the FM, Property and Business Services category will continue to support NHS and public sector organisations with flexible, compliant and sustainable procurement solutions that deliver value for money.
Collaboration will remain a key driver of our work. Building on successful projects such as the Language Services Joint Award across the South Yorkshire Integrated Care System, we will continue to work with trusts to centralise services where appropriate, delivering cost-effective, inclusive and high-quality outcomes. Using NOE CPC’s Language Services framework, trusts benefit from access to pre-approved suppliers, reduced procurement risk and services designed to support patients with communication needs, highlighted by clear performance measures and social value commitments.
We will also continue to support collaborative procurement initiatives that generate savings and improve patient care. Recent joint competitions for Reusable Sharps and Confidential Waste services, delivered through our Total Waste Management framework, have demonstrated how trusts can align contracts, standardise requirements and maximise collective buying power to achieve better commercial outcomes and service consistency.
We will continue to help members access national funding for estates safety improvements and low-carbon infrastructure through our Specialist Estates Engineering & Maintenance Services (Hard FM) framework which provides routes to procure Renewable and Low Carbon Heating Systems, Solar PV and General Building, Improvements, Installations, Repairs & Maintenance and our Minor Works DPS which enables suppliers to be onboarded during its lifetime and includes Categories for Solar Energy/Panels, Installation & Maintenance of EV Charging Solutions and General Building and Construction Work.
With strong partnerships, an expanding category team and a clear focus on sustainability and innovation, we remain committed to helping NHS and public sector procurement professionals to meet evolving challenges.
