Our focus for October is #SupportMatters. To introduce this topic, Neil Davis, Procurement Support Team Manager, discusses how support is not only something we offer our customers but also something that is integral to the operation of NOE CPC.

As October unfolds, it brings with it the crisp embrace of shorter days, a riot of vibrant autumn foliage, and a rekindled sense of purpose. This month at North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC), we are embracing the theme of #SupportMatters, and in doing so we are prompted to reflect on the fact that achievement, whether personal or professional, is rarely a solo act. It's an intricate tapestry of support that can propel us forward and empower us to navigate our challenges with poise and unyielding determination.

In the dynamic NHS landscape, support takes on many forms, from the unswerving dedication of frontline healthcare professionals to the collaborative ethos ingrained in our member trusts. At NOE CPC, our primary aim is to offer you, our valued customers, an unwavering and supportive service to meet the demands of commercial excellence.

I have the privilege of leading NOE CPC’s dedicated Customer Support Team. This team operates diligently behind the scenes to ensure that our members and suppliers receive a high level of customer service and support in their procurement pursuits. Over the years, we've made significant strides in enhancing our response times to your enquiries and streamlining the process for you to access and utilise our framework agreements. The team are often the first point of contact and help facilitate access to expert advice and guidance from our category teams. The customer service and support offered by our team is integral to the comprehensive support that NOE CPC is committed to delivering.

#SupportMatters also extends beyond the workplace. It delves into the realm of personal growth, community building, and holistic well-being. Just as NOE CPC collaborates with NHS trusts, we recognise the value of building positive relationships within our communities, supporting one another through personal challenges, and harnessing the power of digital toolkits to enhance our lives. You can find out more about our full suite of digital tools, designed to help you get the best out our website, in our blog post below.

By navigating the challenges and triumphs of the healthcare procurement landscape together, we are reminded that #SupportMatters, and it's the collective strength of our network that drives us forward. With that in mind, we will continue to pool the collective wisdom of our health procurement network by offering a full programme of training and events throughout the year. You can see more details about some of our upcoming events at the bottom of this newsletter.

In this edition, you'll find a range of articles, personal experience, and expert insights that shed light on the profound impact of support. We hope that these stories will resonate with you, sparking conversations and fostering connections that will empower us all. You can get to know some of the people who are here to support you, including the Facilities and Office Solutions Implementation and Adoption Team, and the newest member of our Customer Relationship Management team, Cara Harris.

Thank you for being a vital part of the NOE CPC community. Your support helps to make our collaborative efforts thrive. For more information about our digital toolkit, or any of products or services, please contact our Support Desk.
