One of the key themes for Earth Day 2021 is emerging green technologies. CPC Drive is committed to giving customers more choice in the vehicles they want to drive by continuing to widen our offer. In the last 12 months, more than 70% of our provider Tusker’s new orders were for Ultra Low Emission vehicles (ULEV’s).

The NHS has adopted a multiyear plan to become the world’s first carbon net zero national health system. Sustainability and reducing carbon footprint are key priorities; and CPC Drive offers an exciting staff benefit, enabling your team members to drive cleaner, greener cars and contributing towards sustainability targets as well as offering potential savings.

The introduction of the 0% Benefit in Kind tax for the 2020 tax year brought opportunities and increased savings for electric and hybrid car drivers.

In the top five cars ordered through our framework provider Tusker, four were pure electric. This combined with a 31.2% CO2 reduction of new cars in the last 10 years makes CPC Drive the ideal choice for environmentally conscious organisations.

Catherine Pugh, Commercial Manager for CPC Drive said: “There are now more than 36,000 charge points across the UK and Salary Sacrifice with CPC Drive is the most cost effective way to drive an EV’. We are continuing to work with manufacturers to get special offers and stock deals for electric and hybrid vehicles ensuring the offers we secured are available to a wide audience.

“Over 100 organisations are already using CPC Drive including NHS trusts and local authorities, the scheme offers a valuable benefit to both employees and employers across the NHS and public sector.”
