Brooke Dixon-Waters

Hi, Brooke. Please tell me a little about your professional background.

I have varied experience in mental health settings, both patient-facing and administratively. Some of the roles included in that are support worker, security specialist, and a senior administrator for CAMHS, promoting to children’s neurodevelopmental pathway coordinator and then project support officer.

Why did you join CPC Drive?

I went for the role because it played to my existing skills in project management and administration but also gave me a chance to try something new. Coming from children’s mental/physical health into the world of salary sacrifice cars has been a fun switch and a great way to adapt my skills in a totally new setting with a different audience.

What are you enjoying most about the job?

Getting to travel around England for events has been a fun way to learn more about CPC Drive and the value we bring.

Tell us something about yourself that we’d be surprised to learn.

I’m from Nebraska, US, which is a very agricultural state. Imagine me, knee deep in mud, herding cattle in the rain at 5 in the morning. Crazy to think my younger self did such things.

Grace Stapleton

Hi, Grace. Please tell me a little about your professional background.

My previous role was clinic co-ordinator for a smaller private healthcare company that supported the NHS. My responsibilities included managing all receptionists across our Leeds sites as well as overseeing health & safety and facilities for our main clinic in Leeds where I was based. Prior to that I had multiple admin roles at the company doing both NHS and private imaging work.

Why did you join CPC Drive?

I was looking for a change of pace for my life and to move away from a patient facing environment. I like the work CPC Drive does for the NHS and I felt the job offered me the opportunity to do a good thing and to feel as though my role was beneficial.

What are you enjoying most about the job?

It is nothing like I have ever done before and I am challenging myself in different ways, e.g. going to events as an exhibitor. The team are also a great bunch to work with and have been really welcoming.

Tell us something about yourself that we’d be surprised to learn.

My first ever job, and only job I have done outside of healthcare, was actually at Papa John’s, so some might say I’m also skilled in pizza making.

Rachel Mosforth-Hunt

Please tell me a little about your professional background.

I worked as a performance manager for a large insurance company for a number of years, leading a team to meet targets in a contact centre. After having children, I moved to working in the public sector for a housing association in their wellbeing team initially, coaching people with health conditions to find and thrive into meaningful work. Then moved into a management role; managing teams of staff to achieve targets, generating new referrals, managing stakeholders and to embed into NHS Trusts, GP surgeries, community settings and DWP. One of the projects I managed was a trial of a new type of community-focussed employment support which was being tested before being rolled out nationally, so I had to work closely with researchers and other providers across the UK.

Following this, I moved into an operational role managing the mobilisation and delivery of new contracts within the housing association, I contract managed the performance acting as a supplier for services across the whole of South Yorkshire meeting with funders and find solutions to overcome any challenges. We also analysed progress of the scheme to ensure I was achieving what was set out by the Combined Authority.

Why did you join CPC Drive?

I wanted a new challenge on a more strategic level and to see the bigger impact I could have across a wider perspective. The NHS was always an organisation I recognised was key to everyone and I was keen to get involved in making a difference on a larger scale. I was interested to gain new experiences and further my personal development with new opportunities. I was recommended to apply by [Implementation and Adoption Manager] Simon Pugh who spoke highly about NOE CPC and the values/principles of the team.

The values of [our host trust] Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, being a mental health trust, align with my previous experience and the employee benefits offered were important to me.  I felt, although my background is not perfectly aligned, I could see how my strengths would fit in working alongside NHS Trusts and other public sector organisations. I had worked in short term contracts and recognised for me to perform at my best I like to know the longer-term picture and what can be achieved from it.

What are you enjoying most about the job?

Working closely with the team to achieve the best for NHS and public sector employees. Attending events to represent CPC Drive. Meeting new people and talking to employees about the benefits of having a salary sacrifice vehicle, which is often wider than just having a car but the wellbeing offering,  sustainability impact and a reliable driving package. The opportunity to get involved with wider projects at work, such as our Staff Experience Group and the Mental Health First Aiders. Being able to improve the financial situation of participating authorities and help improve what they can then offer. Learning from other people to further my development. Really seeing the benefit of what we do across the whole of the UK.

I used to be really into amateur dramatics and have performed on The Crucible stage. It was an enjoyable hobby, but I felt like I preferred off-stage roles and directing. I appeared in a couple of plays by John Godber. I’m still interested in going to the theatre and seeing the staging and costumes.
