Developing and retaining staff is crucial to our procurement teams, and NOE CPC has been involved in increasing numbers of conversations with members around the provision of CIPS training to procurement staff. Colleagues have been keen to discuss, among other topics: 

  • Apprenticeships vs “traditional” routes to CIPS
  • Differences between providers
  • Differences between framework offerings

With that, NOE CPC is proposing to run a one-off forum to enable our members to discuss their experiences and ask questions of their peers. Caroline Brash, our Head of Training and Events, will facilitate the forum, which will remain framework agnostic. 

This session will be of interest to current and future managers of CIPS students at any level; those who are considering utilising their apprenticeship levy to support staff to obtain CIPS qualifications; and anyone who works in an area where CIPS training is relevant (supporting staff, colleagues or selves through the process, or procuring CIPS training on behalf of an organisation).
